I was contacted by an individual from the above mentioned company (Consumer Rewards Network). I was told I would get to try Mega Movie Club and Health Network for $4.95 for a trail period. I was told that I would get to check out the material and the trail period would start 5 days after I start the trail membership. She told me that I would also recieve a $500/- JC Penney card to try the membership.
After I "enrolled", I was never sent any material. I contacted the company and I was told that it was already sent and they would ship it again. I never recieve the material and after about 20 days I called up the company to cancel my account. I was given a series of cancellation numbers. I also discovered that they had deducted $200 from my account. When I mentioned this, I was told to write to the Company headquarters and I would be re-imbursed. I did as instructed.
A month later, I found that another $100/_ had been deducted from my account. I called up the company again and I was told that it was an accouting error. I have disputed all the amounts these companies have deducted.
I am currently trying to see if there is a legal redress to this matte
