The Carrier Corporation (air conditioners) has withdrawn its support from the Boy Scouts of America this year because of the Scout's ban on homosexuals serving as Scout leaders.
A Carrier spokesman said the corporation could not support any group that doesn't operate under the same diversity guidelines as it uses for its own employees.
It's amazing how many major U.S. Corations now actively seek to undermine the very same values and moral standards that democratic capitalism needs to succeed.
No doubt behind the scenes Carrier was hammered by the homosexual rights movement and, unfortunately, Carrier chose to retreat. This is nothing short of extortion.
The homosexual
rights movement is threatening the Boy Scouts by demanding they
choose between their values or their funding. And corporate America is a willing accomplice.
