I was reviewing my bank statement on-line when I noticed that something did not seem right with my credit card charges. There was a charge for $15.95 for AP9*CONNECTIONS at 800-750-4364. I immediately called the 800 number and after a 5-10 minute wait I was connected with customer service representative: Jessica, I.D. No. 19856. I asked her what the charge was for and she stated that at sometime I must have purchased an 'as seen on TV' item and this was a service offered so that I could purchase items at discounted and reduced shipping rates. I was very surprised to learn that I even had a member's i.D. Number. I asked her to cancel my membership.
Jessica was very polite, she did cancel my membership but she also proceeded to try and get me to sign up for other services. During our conversation I kept telling her 'no, thank you' but she did not want to take 'no' for an answer. I realize that she is trying to make a living. That she was trained this way and more than likely she has a daily, weekly, or monthly goal that she must maintain. But, NO means NO.
