After receiving two postcards one yellow and one red and white I also decided to look into Kensington Consulting. I first of all researched them through the internet. Why would the government give out grants through independent companies? I saw their report here but also decided to call them for myself.
They proceded to take my application and then I asked them if they were aware there was a report of them working a scam. The young gentleman then explained to me that what they do is take your information, connect you with a grant advisor and you are charged a fee based on your yearly income. If you don't wind up being eligable then your money is refunded. Only thing is you don't know before you call that they charge a fee for their services. It is not printed on the postcard.
When I asked the young gentleman questions and it appeared that I was not going through with the procedure at that time he told me he could not talk that they were very busy. I also ask him if the were not trying to scam people why didn't submit a rebuttle, he then stated they were not even going to mess with that because they had such a large client base.
