July 4th, a so called business franchise owner came door to door in our neighborhood selling magazines. With the "guilt trip" of not helping people starting their own business, I reluctently bought a magazine subscription. Now the receipt does state may take 90 days to receive product.
90days pass no product, 120days pass no product. 12 long distance phone calls later, (left messages) no return calls.
Finally get answering machine that the company is going through, managerial changes, sorry for your delay. Finally after 160 days 5 months after ordering a $60.00 magazine that I could have went to the store and ordered it and got in 1 month, I spoke to a real person, I promise to call you back she said. 6 business days later (after no response) I call back and they tell me that they sent the wrong zip code to the publisher.
I now have 1 of 2 choices. (1) Get my money back which I was informed that this could take up to 3 months. Or (2) wait for my magazine for 4-6 more weeks and hope that it arrives.
