Hunters Woods - AMC Management ripoff Property Management Refuse to Enforce Rules, Don't care about Loud Cursing Neighbors

I have had only minor maintenance problems since I moved in, but it usually takes repeated requests to get anything done.

But the real problem is my neighbors. I have two neighbors who are excessively loud and no matter how many times I and other neighbors have complained, nothing is ever done. My newest neighbor likes to blast her stereo excessively loud. But the louder neighbors like to scream their heads off at each other, with the only word they scream loudly and clearly enough for me to understand is "f*", which they constantly repeat. I once had to listen to them from 10pm to 10am the next day. I have been told a disruptive noise notice has been placed on their door, but as many times as I've been told that, my neighbors don't take them seriously because the management is not serious or they would have been evicted almost a year ago.

I have been complaining about these particular neighbors for about a year, and I am not the only one who complains. The latest word from management is that the next time I hear them, I should contact the police *instead* of the management, because they obviously don't care.

When I moved in, the manager made a point to tell me I wouldn't have noise problems, which I've had at the majority of apartments I've lived in, but she assured me that her property would be different. She left months ago, having not done anything about my neighbors. The latest person I've been dealing with convinced me that she would try to deal with the problem. I even extended my lease for three months to give her a chance, which she threw away.

These buildings are 20 years old. They are wonderful apartments within themselves, larger than most, awesome layout, and a reasonable rental rate fo the size. But the walls and floors are thin. When any of my neighbors walk around in their apartments, my floor shakes. Imagine how loud a stereo, TV, stomping around, or a shouting match is. I hear my downstairs neighbors constantly, but they've never been excessively loud like the others and I've never complained about them.

If you can hear at all, you might want to stay away from these buildings.
