This company started from the beginning lying, by having a soliciter call and offer a 20.gift certificate for an "Free" water annalises. The gift certificate was to Red Lobster, which we never recieved.
After the salesman came my husband and I decided we would like to have the water purifier. The salesman threw in a 5 yr supply of soaps, two shower heads, and a 5500 Briggs and Stratton generator, to intise the deal. We were only temporarily staying at the home we were in so he promised that the company would move the equipment free of charge.
After signing the contract, they immediately sent two young men to install, which were at our home until 10pm due to hooking the system up wrong and draining all the water from our well. The installers bought the 5 yr supply of soaps with them, but no generator, shower heads or gift certificate, so I contacted the company and they explained that the other items would be sent as soon as the financing of the system went through.
The finance company called me approxiamately 3 weeks later, at which time told me my low monthly payments of 85. Were going to double after the first year, in which time I refused to consent to. The very next morning the company contacted me to let me know that if I would forgive them for this mistake they would drop the price from 8000. To 5000. And still give me everything gauranteed, plus keep my payments at 100. For the life of the loan and service the equipment, I agreed.
At this time I had already moved and left the equipment behind, so I asked for it to be moved to my new residence, which took a additional three weeks, when the equipment was moved I asked the mover where my generator and gift certificate was because all he bought was the shower heads, and he said that there was generators in the warehouse but he was not told to bring one.
So I called the company again, the service manager was very nasty to me and asked me what else I expected, and I said "for a change, how about honesty?" I told him to have the manager call me.in the meantime my husband and I discovered that the system was not working, the mover had dumped the old salt on the ground and not replaced it or set the equipment right. So again the next day I called the company and asked to speak with who I was told was the manager, the secretary said she would have him call me.
I repeatedly called for another 3 weeks, every other day to get the same response, so I filed a report with the BBB, they replied denying the generator, "its in the contract" and also stated that they have better things to do than to take phone calls from me asking where my generator is.
Well in the meantime, I am paying 5000. For equipment that does not work, and we were never shown how to maintain it, because that was part of our agreement that the company would do so. 5000. Is on my credit report for something sitting in my yard and a broken contract with this company.
I am seeking any type of justice. I asked in the BBB report for this company to resolve this by either picking up the equipment and paying off the debt or doing as promised and they refused either.
