The customer service rep that inspects all warranty problems seems that he is try to get out of completing any of the 1 year warranty issues and making it hard to set up an appt fue to he doesn't want to chnage his work scedule in any way even though his office hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday through friday but his work hours just happen to be 7 am to 2 pm.
The customer service supervisor Christian works only a certain times and will refuse to work with on if it's not on his time. He won't come in later or work over. He says that you need to pick an reasonable time to conduct appts. We told him we can at 3:00 pm. He refuses to work past his time or come in later.
Here is just a bit of the issue that happened today, 9/26/05 Christian called first thing this morning about setting up an appointment he basically was disagreeable about any appointments after 2pm. I told him again that I can't make it until 3pm and he said no that he would have to make exceptions for everyone, blah, blah, etc. He also said that the walk-through has to be either with one of the owners which we already knew. So I told him I'd contact Corporate to get it straightened out and he said fine go ahead. He said there is an arbitration process if we wanted to go that route.
He additionally stated we only have 30-days from 17 Sep to do the walk-through accomplished and then from there get whatever appointments scheduled. Now he would go as far as legal process just so he wouldn't have to change his work hours. The customer service hours for SK is 8-4 which states in our warranty/home owners manual which was given to us 1 year ago. He could only make up excuses and himing and hauing of what he would not, could not do.
This is BS Most people that work don't have the luxury to work 6-2 and come AND GO AS YOU PLEASE. What kind of customer service is this? Sorry but we paid how much for our new home to get this kind of treatment. Then he tried to say the worjk he did before that they bent over backwards for us. I think not they were fixing what was required. It's not out fault that it was poior5 drywall work and painting that they had to come back 3 times. Plus christian himself said it was a bad job.
Now he's trying to black mail us or make it sound like he did us a favor when it was reuired under warranty book that the work to be done. We have always met on his terms the appt times but this time we cannot. This isn't the first time that he has been unreasonable. Many other neighbors have complained about him and don't know who to file a complaint to or what to do. We have had enough and are also going to file a complaint with Charles County Attorney General also.
All this because he can't work the customer service hours stated in the home owners manual and he his unwillingly to work with us or change anything. This is BS. As far as customer service this company needs to have classes for all employees and remind them if no one bought their house they wouldn't be getting a pay check! Shoot if we were paying him to do this job he'd be over after 3:00 with his hands out just waiting to be paid.
