I joined DirectBuy with the understanding that it would beat my current kitchen cabinet pricing estimate or I would be able to cancel my membership.
I made this agreement with the owner of DirectBuy in Scottsdale, Mike Ricketts. He told me that I could cancel my membership if he didn't save me "at least 50%" on my cabinets.
When I finally received my cabinet pricing from the design staff, their estimate came in $5000 OVER my current estimate. Based on this pricing, I have been trying to cancel my membership for the past two weeks, but the owener and accountant will not return my many calls.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to get a refund, please let me know. The four thousand dollars membership fee was a lot of money for me, and I truly believed DirectBuy would save me at least 50% on my cabinets.
