I want to let people know that this "company" has many shades to their scheme. First there are a few names that it goes by. The first is American Fidelity. That is the name of the company that first withdrew the amount of $49.95 from my account to "sign up". A speach that did sound promising was telling me that I already was approved for my grant and that the $49.95 was for shipping and handeling, being that I would recieve promotional items - that were suppose to be an option, not obligation.
At first I thought it was great. $6000.00 was to be mine in a simple four weeks. I waited and nothing came in the mail from American Fidelity.instead Adavantage America contacted myself with a $500.00 grocery coupon, and also Health Works Health Care Plan information. Being two different companies had contacted myself promising the same information. I started to question the situation.
The information that was sent out stated that an automatic payment would be sent to their company unless I called to canceal within a 7 day viewing period. The amount was for $299.95. I called the toll free number and well attempted to canceal the "request". I also called the bank and told them that there are reports of this company with the BBB and that I did not want them paid. The bank has then blocked my account with any name similar or close to these. The bank also refunded my money for the "enrollment" and the overdraft it caused. For once the bank was the scary monster that someone had to hide from. They helped fix the situation at least for me. I do recommend that you change your account number and the way they contacted you. If email, change it. If by phone try activating your phone numbers on the "do not call list". These people are out for your money!!!
