I worked for DISA in Open Sytems at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City in 1999 and 2000. I worked for Mr. Martin Schiel. He called me in his office one day and presented me with a letter of dismissal.
The letter was destroyed along with almost every document I owned during the time I was in Los Angeles in 2003.
The contents of the letter included two references to the singer Ms. Madonna Ciccone. Apparently, Mr. Schiel had some problem with the fact that I bought Madonna's album, "American Pie" because I don't know how else he knew I was a fan. Also, I admit I had a very tasteful black and white picture of her on my Government computer as a background. She had a nice white shirt on and it was very tasteful. Many people at Tinker have pictures like this on their computers. I got the impression from Mr. Schiel that I was an exception and that I had to live to a higher standard and could not have the picture while others could have them.
He also made a comment about me wearing Sunglasses inside sometimes. I admit I did that because I didn't like staring at the white screens all day on the computer. I didn't change the background colors. I don't remember if they even allowed the colors to be changed or not but for some reason I was having trouble with floaters and I wore the Sunglasses that day. I didn't do that all the time. I'm not the only person who ever wore Sunglasses all the time. I had a teacher who did that all the time once at Oklahoma City University where I studied computers. I've seen other people at Tinker wear Sunglasses inside including Mr. Larry Ellison, the President of Oracle Corporation. What makes me different?
He also claimed I was talking to myself. I don't recall actually doing that but maybe I did at one point. So does Micheal Dean, the Director in Los Angeles. But I don't do it all the time. I don't understand why that would be such a big deal.
I was told (implicit contract) by officials at DISA that we Interns in the Eagle Program would NOT BE FIRED for ONE YEAR after entry. Mr. Schiel fired me prior to that time.
The pay was actually terrible. Only $24,000 a year to be an Oracle Database Administrator. But I admit that we were only Trainees. It was a good place to start with Oracle. If not for the illegal firing by Mr. Schiel, I would have had a good life as an Oracle DBA by now and a lot less emotional problems because of another bad experience with the United States Government.
I have reported both this event at DISA and the event where the U.S. Navy committed fraud directly to the President of the United States. Nothing ever happens. They do absolutely nothing.
I do not understand living in a country where the Government lies, commits fraud, throws away valuable assets such as ME and then acts as if they don't care and are unwilling to do anything at all to correct the situation.
It is so bad, that I've wanted to leave the country for many years but I keep trying to see some sense to it. I do not see any sense to it. I am planning to permanantly leave for london england (at some point) if i can get the money to get out of this place.
