RIPOFF The Company refused to cancel my card even though I had a 8 day free activation period

On August 08 I received a First National Card. I had recently applied for a credit card and I thought that I was receiving that card. After activating this card I then realized that it was not the card I applied for and that I had never applied for this card.

I search started a web search for information on the card and came across different negative reports about the same card and that it was a scam.

I called the card company and after several calls I finely got through. I was asked for my telephone number and asked for permission to call me back should we be disconnected by the representative.

In the term and agreement states. "If you don't want to keep your cards active, just call our benefits and card services department before your free activation period ends and whether you have your card or not, we will cancel them and charge you nothing."

I tried to cancel the card. The representative repeatedly tried to persuade me not to. I told him that I would like to cancel the card. I was then disconnected. My call was never returned and I have tried several times to call. I never got through.
