I had not paid my account online since Dec. 2003. All other payments were mailed or by phone. During this time they changed their website. On set up on new site info was entered on my checking account. Having worked for 5 years in a bank I know what all the numbers at the bottom of the check stand for and the order in which they are listed. Routing # was correct but suddenly account # was wrong. They do not list the info when paying your payment except for *. Paid them $7.00 to pay my account. Received a call today stating I owed them $157.00 because the payment was returned. My original payment was $20.00. An error they state was my fault. (even though I do know what I am doing) They did not mess up. (they say) $25.00 for late fee, $25.00 for over limit fee, $25.00 for return check fee. Plus they still charged me the $7.00 fee to pay the bill which was not paid. This Company is a leech preying on the down trodden and they need to be help questionable for their actions.
