First National Benefits ripoff about 12,500 grant Florida

I received a phone about a week ago from First National Grant, claiming that Ii was selected for a Government Grant in the amount of 12,500. At first I was like I'm not interested, because it sounded a little shaky, but he told me that I had to explain why I was turning down this offer. So I agree to listen to what he had to say, needless to say I was kind of falling for it. I became suspicious again when he wanted my bank account info, he claim that the check had to be direct deposit, just in case it got lost.

Again I felt for it but it took me a minute of two to get over it. After I came him my bank info, I had this feeling like I just screwed up, so I went online while he was still on the phone to research. I went to google type in the company's name, and came across First National Grant (Rip-off). My stomach drop because I just gave this man my information, so I told them that something was wrong with my account, and that I did not have the funds.

He quickly stated that the transaction will not take place, thank you for time, and then hung up. I then call my bank told the what happen, they told me the best thing to do was to close the account. I have an out of state bank; I had a lot of direct deposit open, a check to clear and withdrawals from this account. I contacted everyone that same day, some I couldn't get a hold of until the next day.

I finally faxed to my bank that I wanted to close the account, but by that time they had already withdrew the funds for $29.95. I received a box with a letter enclosed inside, the letter welcome, and some other bogus information. It stated that if I had not respond to them within 7 days, about a medical and dental discount plan that we had discuss, I will bill me for $299.95 to the account that I have on file. I'm never the one to fall for scams, I guess its a first time for everything, NEVER AGAIN, will I get played like that.

Since my account is close I'm going play along, I'm not going to call, but waiting to see what will happen.
