I received a letter notifying me of a lottery win of 615,810.00 euros! I knew it must be a scam but faxed them the details they asked for anyway... Had the feeling that i would be asked for transfer fees next and was right. Called them up and told them that i would not transfer anything, if they wanted they could take it from the winnings and let me have the rest and of course they were not allowed to do that!
Mr mario jose (who by the way sounds very nigerian to me) even had the cheek to tell me that i was welcome to go to madrid and he would take me to the bank himself... But then added that i would have to give him a further 600 to get a winners certificate... What a surprise!
I laughed and put the phone down...
How are they allowed to open accounts? The banks must see that the transfers from all over the world are suspicious and more worrying is how do they get our addresses and details
