Complaint / Review
Premier Benefits aka Consumer Rewards Network
Ripoff, scam

I recently received the same phone call from a guy with a stong accent who kept asking me to repeat things because he couldn't hear me. Well I kept telling him that I couldn't hear him either and can I please speak with someone who can communicate more effectively. After speaking with a "supervisor", and having him explain it all to me, I reluctantly and stupidly handed over the information over the phone. I'm usually not one to do these things, but I asked a lot of questions and thought this company was legitimate. I agreed to the #3.95 in exchange for movie passes and $200 shopping spree.

I didn't find out until I got the package that the $200 was only a $20 refund every time I mailed in a copy of a receipt and coupon to their address up to a maximum of $200 in a year. They also now told me I'd have to pay $150 to keep this service active for a year. At this point, I called back and cancelled my acct with them. Luckily I haven't been charged anything from them since. Well, I played along and sent in my receipt and coupon, but received it back with a stamp on the envelope saying "Return to Sender Undeliverable. Commercial Mail Receiving Agency No Authorization To Receive Mail From This Addressee"

This concerned me so I started searching the web for this company and found all of these fraud reports from the company. Even the BBB lists them and grades them with an F score! Check out it out! Or click on this link: http://www.labbb.org/BBBWeb/Forms/Business/CompanyReportExtensionPage. Aspx? CompanyID=13215350&sm=

I called the company. Put on hold in line."2 people ahead of you, wait time: 5 minutes." then 5 minutes later, "0 people ahead of you, wait time: 6 minutes." Does this make sense? I finally got to talk to another heavily accented female for long enough to get a new address. She couldn't answer any of my questions about why there is a new address and many other questions about reports on their company. I asked to speak with a supervisor an when told to "please hold" I was hung up on. When I called back, the woman couldn't answer any questions and wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor because they have the same information. She said I was asking question about the company and not about the program. Duh!!!

Now I'm questioning whether or not to send this coupon and receipt to the new address to attempt getting a $20 refund with the hopes of more in the future. Am I setting myself up for more scam and possible more charges to my account?

Beware of this company!!! I hope someone takes them out soon! Like the BBB says, "This company's advertising is misleading and deceptive. Essentially, they fail to deliver the service sold, and once they have the account number of the customer, they draft that account for a much larger fee than agreed."

Stay away from this company!
