After 5 years of employemnt with out one single write up or disiplinary action taking against me I was terminated. Why? The loss prevention reason was "dishonest conduct" The truth, my pharmacy manager didn't like me. She told me that by taking a maternity leave I was screwing my co-workers. The only bad evaluation I ever recieved in 4 years was the week I told her I was pregnant. Last week, a presciption was filled for my husband. I bagged the prescription myslef and signed for it. I set the prescription next to the cash register and asked the new girl if she would ring me up. I returned to my workstation, and at the end of my shift I took the prescription home. THe new girl says she doesn't remember checking me out. I spent 2 hours in a room with "loss prevention" getting treatined like a common criminal. The other employee, who had only been with the company 2 months, was taken at her word. Why keep a full time employee with benefits at the highest rate of pay whe you can keep a part time employee without benefits? THe most ironic thing is 2 weeks ago I used the "CONFIDENTIAL" 1-800 number to report unethical actions by my manager, then 2 weeks later I get fired.
