I adopted a St Bernard from the Rescue and it was surrendered because it was aggressive towards the previous owners child and Kaye Andre told me the dog was not aggressive and when I got it home it tried to attack my children. Ms Andre fraudulantly represented the animal and herself. She never required me to fill out any application. Their website states they temperment test the dogs and make sure their shots are up to date. Ms. Andre had the dog only 48 hours and never did any of the above. Then she has the nerve to tell me its my fault for not establishing who is the Alpha in the house. I spoke with a certified dog trainer who completely disagrees with her.
She refuses to give me my money back because she clearly was only out for the money not the dog. Everything the previous owners gave to her to go with the dog to his new home she kept. She lied from the beginning. She treats the dogs bad and she even admitted to kicking the dog in the head. She smacked the dog on the side of the mouth several times while we were meeting with her. She is supposed to be helping the dogs. When I took this to the President of the Rescue Foundation she defended her. All they want is to get the dog back so they can send it out to another unsuspecking family. They charge a $350.00 adoption fee and you would trust that they do what they say but they do not. She tried to take credit for training the dog when he went through obedience school with his previous owners. She said he was not food aggressive when his previous owners told me he was and they did not feed him around the family because of this. She acted irresponsible from the beginning and she needs to be stopped before someone gets bitten.
