I had a friend named Matt Kerrigan, He works in the hotel business. He asked for a favor, to puchase some plane tickets so he could fly to a job in San Francisco and take care off his three kids with a better paying job. He wanted the bonus Frequlent flyer miles that came with the American Express purchase. I felt bad and agreed. He cut me a check for the first ticket. $580.00. I gave him my credit card information including the security digits. He charged the next month's tickets $2,200 and said the check was in the mail. The first check bounced and the second check never arrived. I was contacted by his old company in San Francisco that they had missing items including a cell phone and computer.
