I called NSTAR to discontinue service prior to my lease end. The woman on the phone told me it would be taken care of. Three weeks later, I received a shut off notice. Upon calling to find out why, the rep Lisa was defensive and rude to say the lease. She told me that I would be responsible for the bill as they had no record of me calling therefore I must not have called. When I questioned her if she was accusing me of lying she stated if you cant tell me who you talked to then you have to pay. She was insensitve and nasty to say the least. Irony is that they record their phone calls but will only look into if it is helpful to them.
