This company is a SCAM. Please avoid doing business with this and other related companies.
I saw a room advertised in Gumtree, the first sign of them being a bunch of scamers was that they advertise the rooms as being PRIVATE LANDLORDS WHERE THERE ARE AGENTS! But it doesnt end there

They have a "professional" account on gumtree with the name of FISHER BLANK, A DODGGY company that is not register in the UK, and with no address on the website.
But here is my story,
I booked a room with them after seeing an ad on gumtree, since i know about all this scams i decided to research a bit as you can see since the 'private' ad was actually a doddgy agency.
I paid 200 pounds to reserve the room and i was supposed to move in days after. I made a money transfer since i didnt want to pay cash or western union which they requested.
They asked me to go to their office in Aldgate, east london. Seems it seemed VERY DODDGY to me, i decided to pay the rent and deposit and leave my belongings in the property i TOOK AND PAID FOR. Once i was settled i went to their DODDGY OFFICE AND after waiting for an hour i was received by an spanish guy that hardly spoke english and called himself the 'manager'.
The office to be honest looked very poor to be an 'international company with office in the USA lol'
after checking the companies house, i realised that "MADA PROPERTIES " WAS DISSOLVED A WHILE BACK!!!

... And it has a different address from the one they gave me.
My problem started since FOR NO APPARENT reason he decided not to sign my contract even if i was showing him my receipt of payment, so i called the police.
The spanish man was very nervous and called his boss as soon as he realized he chose the wrong victim.
There is more, they also have a shop called MUCHROOMS in 80 Brick lane where the " manager" went to rest after our incident finished with the police getting involved.
As you can see, they advertise themselves as a private landlord when they have several offices and several business names...
MUCHROOMS, MADA PROPERTIES, FISHERBLANK and possibly many more.
Be very careful... I hope to get every penny back plus compensation for all the stress they caused.
I need your help in reporting scammers like these cowboys.
