Early Novemember, of I recieved a telephone call from a female telemarketer. I was immediately suspicious. I have no clue how she was able to get my work number (direct line no less).
I immediately said I was not interested, sensing from the beginning that it was fraudulent. The lady was very persistent, and should have recieved an award for her sincere performance. We went through a series of questions and answers. Of course it's nearing Christmas, and just like most of us, I thought sounds ligit and I sure can use the money.
Sure enough, next paycheck, 249.00 was deducted from my account - in such a timely manner. All that was left was to wait for the wonderful Master Card that was to show up within 10 - 15 business days. She even said that the MC could withdraw up to 500$ cash per day, no interest for 3 years, etc.
Too good to be true... 60 days later no credit card, and the discovery of this site. I did, however, receive a bulky package from Centurian. Credit Card? Nope just a whole lot of advertising for more scams. Nice try but the gig is up.
It wasn't just the loss of 249.00$, you truly feel sucker punched after falling for a scam like this.
Never ever ever give out your bank information to any unknown company
... These people should be jailed...
