ON December 9 I received a phone call from a customer service rep of Centurian Credit stating that I had recently applied for a credit card online and had been accepted with a $2,000.00 limit. Along with that would be no APR for 3 years, and a one time membership fee of $249.00 for the life of the card. The fee would be directly debited from my checking account, and then I would receive the credit card within 10 business days. Being that I have struggled with my credtit recently, I thought this would be a good way to help rebuild my status; however, I also thought that the offer sounded a little too good to be true, so that is when I did a search on the card, and found all of the reports regarding the scam. I am so thankful that I researched this, and found what I did! To all of you who had filed reports, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! I am now hoping that my bank will stop Centurian from debiting my account without charging me a fee! Just a reminder that when it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!
