DODGY SALES TACTICS
Got a very convincing call today from you guessed it: Alwaysonvacation! A Moroccan-French man (I recognise the accent) speaking in French said that his name was Steve Saunders working in London although couldn’t pronounce his name very well! The 3 partner websites he talked through with me looked very genuine and the bonus of Ryanair inflight magazine advert seemed to good to be true! He then asked me to pay and that the ‘special offer’ of a discounted gold listing is only available this week (Friday today) and he wanted to talk through the payment section of the website with me. This rang alarm bells in my head so I said he would have to call back later. He has now sent an e-mail which none of the pictures have web links…v suspicious. I’m really glad I googled the company for scams to find out they are a big scam problem with taking money without permission (renewals) and telephone harrassement, so REALLY hoping they don’t start calling frequently & harassing me…. We shall see!
My advice now is to STEER CLEAR and perhaps their new call center is now based in Morroco not India?
