I believe this is someone using the information for a ligitimate company to scam loan applicant. I didn't lose money yet, but could have.
I applied for loan through Private Money Goldmine to a list of private lenders and immediately got a response from Loan Processor Nick Hoffman. He stated he works with Doug Smith, one of Private Money Goldmines premier lenders. I made mistake and sent my personal information to complete the loan process. Today I received another email that was very unprofessional, a lot of misspellings and poor English. This raised a red flag and I then found this website. See below:

Funds would be made available to you either by Bank Wire Transfer to your account, Western Union Money Transfer or a Certified Cashiers Check will be mailed 48 hours after Insurance Policy is received, do specify method in which you like to receive Funds so I can inform you the terms of the Loan including Loan Amount Approved, Monthly Payment, Duration and Method of payment and the E-mail address of the Insurance Agent to whom you would contact to purchase the Insurance Policy Files & Collateral Forms to complete your Loan Application Form to effect release of Funds to you accordingly. Bear in mind that there are other acceptable on-line collateral. You will not be required to purchase an On-line Security Insurance Files if you can provide Bank Guarantee or Home Equity Line of Credit Account since you don't have excellent credit. Otherwise the only avenue to which you will be funded upon Approval is by purchasing the Loan Insurance Documents. Get back to me immediately so we can have your loan application completed.
