On December 11 I received a call from James Tucker at Newport Lenders telling me that I was approved for a personal loan in the amount of $5,000.00. He mentioned that I would have to make the first 4 payments to secure the loan or purchase the insurance incase I lost my job.
I submitted the insurance payment of $932.00 only to find out that the loan was never in my account. I called back the next day and spoke with Brandon who is the loan manager, he informed me that the lender is re-evaluating my loan and I need to come up with another $800.00. Now I find out that the loan was never approved.
I've requested for my funds that I wired to be returned to me and I have not received them back. The phone number is disconnected and their website does not exsist anymore. I have filed a complaint with my local police department, and to the Better Business Bureau. I will be contacting the FBI to get involved.
