When I attempted to suspend my account due to the loss of my job and cutting back on expenses, I received NO NOTICE that immediately the company RENEWED my contract for 2 years, as an automatic renewal! I didn’t discover this or find it out until I finally decided to cancel the service with the company. I was briskly informed that I would have to pay a $241.41 Cnacellation fee, and also informed that the company “doesn’t do contracts anymore, ” but that I was STILL under contract because mine “had renewed” immediately before the company decided to stop “doing contracts.” I discussed this discrepancy with three different customer service reps and none of them were remotely interested in helping me reduce or cancel this new cancellation fee. They were all very emphatic as to the absolute power of the new “no contract” policy. I sent them their cancellation fee but it seemed fraudulent to me, especially the fact that the company automatically renewed my “contract” for two years without my permission and then put a policy in place that denies all contracts exist. I want a refund for $241.41. T-Mobile is a big operation that is not above operating a scam a minute.
