Sometime last year I received a call offering me a long distance service to the Philippines. The agent was very persistent and informed me that he'll received a sack of rice and 1,000.00 Philippine pesos as bonus if he's able to close the transaction. He said that it would be a big help for his family and that the $38.95 subscription fee is refundable or consumable.in short, I ended up subscribing just because I wanted him to get the bonus even if I don't call to the Philippines anymore. Last month, I called the company requesting to change the registered home number on my account. The agent told me that I have to pay another $38.95. I decided to cancel their service and requested the refund of $38.95. The agent told me that there is a restriction on my debit card and that to give them another card number to refund my payment.instead of giving me a refund, the company charge me again July 4.in addition there was another charge made on my card for $30.65 under another persons account. I called customer service and the supervisor (Rosario) said that all charges will be refunded on my card. It is very unfortunate that inspite of trying to help our fellow countrymen, they still get to scam people. This is clearly a scam so be aware.
