I was trying to get more information on someone known to have a criminal record. I paid for the "premium report, " and it contained the same info as the regular report—which was absolutely nothing. I had found more information, including a mugshot, on my own. I then tried to see if maybe it was a fluke—tested myself, my ex-spouse, and several friends.
Each and every report contained errors, omissions, and other inaccuracies, including but not limited to: incorrect birthdates, no marriages/divorces, wrong associates, wrong spouses, wrong addresses, missing criminal records, etc.
I called the company and was told that since I had used the research software even once, I would not get a refund.
Their standard line was "We only put what the court clerks send us, and if we aren't notified, we can't enter it." I call that a load of nonsense!
The clerks of courts aren't going to contact every data base in the world to update them. It is up to instantcheckmate.com to update their data base and make certain they have accurate, timely, and correct information, or else refund the client's money.
The only word for this company is "SCAM!"
