Having completed a survey questionnaire for a publisher I actually work in association with (and hence trusted) I was offered a FREE gift and all I needed to pay was £3.99 for postage and packaging for dermajuvenate serum worth £40. Having given my details for what I thought was postage i then received 2x30ml of the product which I thought was free. I then noted from my bank account that not only had the postage been taken out of my account but also an additional £89.91. I then realised I had been scammed (through researching online) and that if I didnt write to them to cancel the alleged order that more DDebits would ensue. Having no information in the packaging they sent or indeed a record of what happened when I paid for my FREE gift from the survey the only link I had was to the shipment email, which I complained to, with no response a few days later I found another email address online and complained again stating that I wanted to cancel whatever had been setup. I followed the instructions on their site as to how to do this but recieved no email return (at this stage I had sent 4 emails). I thought this was the end of it until today when I looked at my bank account and saw they had taken another £89.91 out of my account for a product I hadnt received. So I rang them this time and they said the email people dont speak to the phone people and so as far as they were concerned I hadnt cancelled anything. But they could if I wanted to cancel 'what I had ordered' (not) that they could give me a 50% discount but that even if I did have the items (to return I have not received them) that i couldnt because of the 14 day limit to cancel the original order (from the original request to pay for postage of an alleged free gift). Basically they send the product, which you recieve within the 14 day time limit and so are not in a position to cancel it by the time you realise that they are taking money from you! I called my bank today and arranged for chargeback based on my cancellation request and non-receipt of goods for the £89.91 but have lost the original £89.91 and cannot get this money back!
