I was sent what looked like a statement from the State of CA stating I owed $225. I also received an official card from the State of CA saying I owed $25 with instructions for paying online, which I did. I called the State and spoke with a man who said the form I was sent stating I owed $225 for the year for my annual corporate filing was not from the State. It was from Corporate Business Filings, a company that is representing itself as from the state. I wish to file a complaint as this was misleading. They requested I make payment to:
