Two kids came by selling magazine subscriptions to help pay for their education. They seemed genuine, intelligent, and ambitious. I took a chance and wrote a check for 42.61 (way too much, I know) for a magazine subscription. A month later I received a bill from Millennium Sales, saying I owed another 36.05. Printed on the bill is a statement the says "Any difference in price from order copy is either an error by salesperson or due to current price increases beyond our control." The magazine subscription I bought cost 42 bucks. Done. If you buy a gallon of milk at the grocery store, and the "price increases", the manager doesn't get to come knocking on your door for the difference.
