I had bought in game gold Perfect World international.
Same scenario as listed above cases.
There cooperative couldn't be reached 1st than few times no response to email and live chat. Filed dispute with paypal 1 day later response in game gold was ready. Next lice chat they where ready to mail the money to my char in game but needed to close the dispute 1st. When i refused to close i offered them to refund my cash. They made 1 more effort to say they would refund if i closed the dispute. Also that i refused and told them they could react to the dispute for the refund and that i had screen shot all the previous and present conversations. Next day i had a mail from paypal my money got refunded.
So in the end i got my money back but only by sticking true with the dispute in my opinion.
If i had ever even 1s went along to closing the dispute i m pretty sure the money would have been lost. My advice is not to do business with these people
