I was looking at "free" adult sites. I was asked for credit card info for so-called age verification. I have been charged for the last three months, unfortunately. I MUST check my account now on.
When I found out from my bank, the name of the billing party (wasn't clearly written on statement) I googled and found I was not alone. I called CV and asked for a refund. I was told since I was asking for three months refund - I would have to call their billing dept.in 5-10 days. Fearing of being outside of the refund "window" I spoke to my bank.
It is a pain. I will have to double check my utils-now that my card has been cancelled. I might have to wait two weeks.
I hope this is resolved, the sooner the better!
