I agreed to sign up for this service at the urging of the local cable representative when we moved. She indicated the company would be available to talk me through setting up all of our various devices. After paying via credit card for 6 months, and not using the service, I called to cancel. After spending over 45 minutes being passed around to various people, I was told I didn't have an account with the company and therefore couldn't cancel. I pointed out that I had my credit card statements in front of me and could see 6 charges from MyTechHelp (which is how I tracked down their phone number). I was rudely told they weren't charging my account and I didn't know what I was talking about. The rep also told me that if I was being charged it was through my cable company and I needed to speak with them. The cable company very surprised when I called to let them know what the rep said. I finally had to have my credit card company dispute the charge to get the charges to stop.in this situation, I was very naive/stupid to give this company access to my credit card number and I hope this information will keep someone from making the same mistake I made.
