Young man came to my door with ID and papers explaining he is working on a scholarship for college and gets so many points. He can't accept donations but I could buy a book. I decided to buy a dinosaur encyclopedia for my grandson. The receipt said it was TOTAL $49.95 which I thought was steep for a book but he assured me it was a very thick book. I have him a downpayment of $30. He fills out more information on the receipts, reminding me to add comments on the back when I mail it on how he handled himself. I gave him a bottle of water-it was 90 degrees and he was sweltering in the heat. Later I looked at the receipt only to find I have a balance due of $30.95 According his math I would be paying $61.95 for one book. That's when I decided to check online. Their website is non-existant. It was a $30 lesson for me.
