Hi,
I'm having allot of trouble trying to get a refund from sge loans. They also debited 79.99 out of my account without my permission. When I called to ask them why they had debited the amount from my account. (as I had clearly asked them WHY they wanted my bank details and told them if I the loan was not approved then I did not agree to them taking any fund from my account.) it just so happened that I did not approve of the loan that they offered to me so I didn't expect anything to be taken from my account. The company said they had debited the amount because I had agreed to a premium account. I didn't have a clue what they were going on about and asked them to refund the money to my account. Luckily enough they told me that I had called just in time because they had a so-called 'cooling off period' in which I could cancel and I could receive a cheque within a week.
It's been well over 3 months and endless dead end phone calls and I still haven't received my refund.
I called again last week and with luck I got through to someone who told me that I would be receiving my refund by Friday, but to my disappointment no cheque!
I called again today and they gave me a silly answer again saying I had only called once and my case was with the management team and they have no time scope for when I will be getting my refund.
This is absolutely atrocious! First they took my money without my permission, now they are dragging the issue and beating around the bush. I would like to know when I am going to receive my refund and what can be done to prevent this from happening again with ANYONE in future.
