I moved out of my apartment on Thursday 6/28. I called westar to stop service, I was told the earliest the technician can get there is Friday 7/5. So am supposed to pay for electricity for a whole week! That am not living at the apartment. This is a ripoff! Also this was my first time using Westar and my monthly bills averaged $200 dollars / month. Some months even higher, I have never paidthat much for electricity before! I mostly work out of town, I always turned off my AC and unplugged electronics before I left, and still my bills were higher. Avoid this company at all cost if you can, its a ripoff!
