My husband received two emails. The first mentioned they found his résumé on CareerBuilder. We don't use CB. The two emails are copied below:
The First:
"Hello [name withdrawn],
Our firm is a payment processor with services made for international small businesses.
Currently we have a vacant position of a "Check Assist Manager". We have closely reviewed your CV, that was placed online. We trust that your knowledge will have a great value for our team.
Basic requirements:
- US residency and permanent address;
- computer with internet access and e-mail address;
- liability and communication skills.
- age: at least 24;
no fee is required for entering the job.
If you want to accept the offer, please reply to this email"
The second:
"Hello!
Thank you for your interest in this position.

I ignored the first email, and the second came today. The automated text makes this seem like a scam, plus their website barely pulls up in Google.
