I was contacted by Baktur & Baktur (should be bastard & bastard) when I returned home after suffering a stroke and being in the hospital for a month. I had no money and they promised to get me some grant money for $3000. And for an extra $300 I could purchase a warranty of service contract which entitled me to a complete refund if they fail to get me grant money. I charged it on my credit card, which I still can't pay for. I finally got ahold of them, and they claimed that the guarantee was that they would find foundations for me to send my proposals, which they sent me only one copy, and I was to make copies AND mail them myself. It took them over a year to get my proposal to me.By then all of the grants were gone already. I mailed then a letter demanding my refund, which I received back a month later return to sender with their address blacked out. Sounds like a scam company doesn't it? I just want a check back for $3300.
