An employee from this company went to Claudia B Cuevas home stating that they were affiliated with the department of Education (Our school P.S. 126x located at 175 west 166th street in the bronx). An after school service was offered to assist her child with homework and class work. She was convinced to sign her child up and a down payment was made by check, they also had her fill in all her bank information so that payment could be deducted each month from her account for the service. This is were the added $300.00 dollars came from in the monetary damage box. She came to me last June and I informed her that we had no connections to that company and when I called them I was assured that it would be resolved.in the mean time I encouraged Ms. Cuevas to change her account number so that they couldn't continue to deduct any more money and she did that. Now the company is harrassing her by mail. This company never even provided any service to her child they never went to her house as it had been agreed upon.
