An e-mail from my daughter (that she didn't send) contained a link to a site that sold garcinia cambogia and other dietary supplements being plugged by Dr. Oz. The first time a went to the site I thought it seemed a little suspicious so I left. I went back a day later and decided to take advantage of the offer of a free bottle and decided I would alsoorder the buy three and get 2 free (for $97.70). When I got to the page that listed my order there was another charge for $159.00. I entered my information including credit card, before I discovered there was no way to edit the order and get rid of the $159. So I closed out the web site without placing any order. The next day I got confirmation of my purchases.
I sent an e-mail immediately asking for the order to be cancelled. All I got a robo-email telling how to contact customer service. Two days ago I got a package which appears to contain 8-10 bottles.
On advice of my credit card company I called to request an RMA. I spoke to two different representatives, neither of whom would assist me if I did not give them my e-mail address. I said I had my both customer number and order numbers but they would not proceed without my e-mail ("for security purposes").
This is quite clearly a scam as I made several other calls in an attempt to find out the actual name or web address for this company.
