I purchased the body trim system in sept. Unfortunately my husband usually deals with credit card payment so i did not notice that $29.90 had been removed from my account monthly from october until 16 june. I have informed them and requested a refund. Have just received an email declining my request because they say that "the membership fee for trim club is advised at the point of sale and further reinforced on the invoice". I wasn't advised at the point of sale (i have consistently told them this) and the information on the invoice is in small writing on the back... I didn't notice it. Seems others have been having exactly the same problem. I won't give up, I have just emailed them again to reinforce that I wasn't told at the point of sale and that a statement from them in small writing on the reverse of an invoice is not evidence of consent. I have lodged a dispute with my credit card company and will also be lodging a complaint with trading standards. Very underhand and dubious business processes going on here.
