I purchases a Brand new 2006 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT Limited. I loved the car but it had multible problems.
Poor gas mileage, transmission slipping, gas gauge didn't work correctly, It had multible dents that happened from me getting out of the car and putting my left hand on the back door (that's not supposed to yh (. It happenen). It also it had a large dent on the lower Rt Fender from opening the door.
The car was a lemon and matter of fact the dealership was trying to find me new car like the one I had.
Then on my way home from Boston, MA 14 miles from home on RT. 2 a car around the corner in my lane. There was a telephone pole on my Right, so I had no choice but to go in his lane. I thought I had it made but we clipped rear bumpers and started to slide but I still had it made I thought that But the car started to go faster with my foot on the brake pedal hard I thoughitö because of a puddle.
But now because of the safety defect recall because of the brake lines having trouble with braking. I now think that it was a brake line that broke.
And to put icing on the cake none of the 6 air bags deployed.
I then emailed John Mergan President of SOA and he said no problems with car could have been a factor in the accident and offered me $500 if I bought a new Subaru.
I received multiple injuries mostly caused by the seatbelt, was was a serious burst fracture on my 2nd lumbar vertabrae.

PS: The accident was 037
