I take care of my 87 year old mother. She decided to take advantage of a Sensa offer over the phone. I don't routinely check my mother's bank statements, but now I know that I should. I found that she has been charged $89.95 (and up!) for Sensa products, about every other month.
She ordered it through the mail, I thought, and missed the fine print; but she tells me that she ordered it over the phone and did not give consent for a recurring automatic payment.
The monetary damages are approximate, based on the Sensa associate that I spoke with who said that my mother had been a customer since 2011. Apparently, the associates are trained to talk customers out of opting out; and they do try as hard as they can. Please do not fall for this scam.
