I ordered cologne from Fond Sprays thinking I was paying $7.99. I received the cologne and am well pleased with it. As I was checking my bank account, I noticed I was charged $95.00 by Fond Sprays. Not knowing why I was charged $95.00, I called the customer service center. I spoke to a man who identified himself as Josh Evans. I explained to him my situation and he immediately became very defensive and in a rude tone of voice explained that everything is detailed in the terms of conditions when I placed my order and you agreed to them. I told Mr. Evans that I really did not read the terms of conditions mainly because of the print and the length and that is my fault. I thought this is only a $7.99 purchase as the ad mentioned and I was okay with that. However, I wish I could have been reminded again about the terms of conditions when my order was shipped.
I asked Mr. Evans how I could get my money back and he told me the only thing I could do is to email the company. I have made this mistake in the past with another company and the company gladly refunded my money. I have since cancelled my orders with Fond Sprays and I have cancelled all future charges from my account.
I am asking Fond Sprays to please refund the $95.00 that was taken from my account. I also noticed that Fond Sprays has many complaints lodged against it concerning the same situation that I am writing about. It appears that the terms of conditions are in such small print that people don't try to read it and also because it appears from the ad that $7.99 is all you have to pay. So I am not the only one misled by the ad.
