This company is fraudulently trying to phish for payments to debts that are not legitimate. They called me claiming I owed several thousand dollars for a credit card I had with Chase Bank from 2001. They said that it was payed on for several years and that I stopped paying on it. I have never had a line of credit through Chase Bank and I have never carried a credit card with more than a 400 dollar balance so I knew this was incorrect. When I asked about their business so I could further research this they wouldn't give me any information other than a name. They also didn't read the mini Miranda as required for all 3rd party collections by the FDCPA. I looked into their business and they do have a very limited website that lists an address and I google map searched it and its someone's house. I immediately looked further online and found more scam complaints through the BBB. I called and filed a police report with the Lockport, NY police and will be doing further research to find out who else I need to contact to stop these liars before they get someone one the phone who doesn't know any better and gives them money.
