We purchased a Timeshare from GRAND Mayan, Nuevo VALLARTA.

Purchasing and Rental Agent based in Chicago to purchase the properety on behalf of a client. An Agreement was drawn up and executed by me. They then referred me to GOLDSTEIN FUNDING SOURCES based in Los Angeles (SUSAN CRAWFORD/ROBERT MARSHALL) who were the escrow company to execute the sale and proceeds. Then came GOLDSTEIN'S requests for Asignment Fee 3,695 USD ; Asignment Fee Vacation fair weeks 3,695 USD; 16 % Taxes
8,763 USD ; Registry foreign Investment 1,638 USD, 8% commision 4,368 USD Closing costs 2,495 USD. Then a fourth request for excess income tax of $8,190.
I refused to pay the fourth request so the deal was cancelled.
I have documents from Amerimex stating that if the deal was cancelled, a full refund would be made of all the monies we wired (to a bank account in Puerto Vallarta) as per GOLDSTEIN'S requests. I went to the LA office and it does not exist and contacted Amerimex who drew up the papers for cancellation but requested a commision fee.
They have subsequently filed for bankruptcy with no way to contact them.
Simliarly Goldstein are un contactable.
Even while this scam was playing out other random phone calls from SiverPrime properties have been trying to purchase the same property with the same tactics. They were the ones who told me that Amerimex had files for bankruptcy.
After all of these monies were wired Mayan has sent out a e mail alerting to such scams but unfortunately this was after the event.
I discussed on many accassions with Susan from Goldstein whether this was a scam and she reassured me it was not and that if I wanted my laywer or accountatnt to call she would reassure them.
Now that we are trying to follow up on our refund, Crawford's phone gives the message that the call cannot be completed (disconnected?). The main line is still active (JOANNE COOPER) but is never answered and messages and emails are not We purchased a Timeshare from GRAND MIRAMAR, PUERTO VALLARTA, Aug. 2012 for 47,600 USD. This was done on the understanding with our Sales Persons (RICHARD BOUNDS and JUDY BAILEY) that THE PROPERTY PLACE based in Miami (SAM LOPEZ) would purchase some of our other Timeshare Points. An Agreement was drawn up to this fact. THE PROPERTY PLACE kept giving us excuses and false promises regarding a buyer and were very poor at responding to phone calls/emails.
THE PROPERTY PLACE eventually referred us to GOLDSTEIN FUNDING SOURCES based in Los Angeles (SUSAN CRAWFORD/ROBERT MARSHALL) Feb. 2013 because they supposedly had a buyer in Puerto Vallarta for our Points. Then came GOLDSTEIN'S requests for Transfer Fee 13,000 USD Feb. 7; Taxes 12,597 USD Feb. 25; Excess Income Tax 9,750 USD Mar. 21 plus 150 USD wire transfer costs, totalling 35,497 USD. Then a fourth request for State of Nayarit and Municipal Tax for Bahia de Banderas 7,150 USD Apr. 9.
We refused to pay the fourth request so the deal was cancelled.

We have tried to contact RICHARD BOUNDS (GRAND MIRAMAR) multiple times for his promised assistance throughout this whole fiasco but he refuses to return any of our phone calls or emails.
Any assistance in trying to retrieve our funds would be greatly appreciated.
