We ordered a sun screen for the west side of our deck. We requested a hand crank to raise it up. Jim Newbould, of Wasatch Retractable Screens told us it would not be heavy to raise. After installed my husband could raise and lower it but I could not raise it myself. Also the chain he put on was not the kind of chain he promised. He also came into our back yard without an appointment when he came to install it. As I could not use the screen I asked him to remove it and give us our deposit back. He agreed and said he would remove the screen and give us a check back. He came back and removed the screen and left no check. I called and asked where he put our check because he had originally requested that we leave him a check under our front door mat. He said you were not there and didn't want the check to blow in the wind. I said it was OK for us to leave a check for him under our mat but why is it not OK for him to leave our check under the mat. He stopped talking... Said nothing. I asked him if he was going to say anything. He said I was saying it all. I told him I was just following through with what he told me he was going to do. Remove the screen and leave a check under the door mat. He finally said he was going to mail the check. Now I wonder if he will follow through. We have holes in our stucco pillars that we now have to repair so we both lost out, Jim Newbould of Wasatch Retractable Screens from Bountiful Utah needs to do the right thing
