I was notified that I had won a $2.5 million sweepstake and a new car, but to receive both I had to pay the taxes, etc. Which I was stupid enough to do. There were four payments made (I have the receipts). The next one would be due tomorrow and the delivery of the check and car would follow.
The deliveries were made in cash mailed to New York and Brooklyn (same address but different names - no doubt an empty appartment at 190 Corzine Avenue, Apt. 7S, a Western Union to Jamaica, and another to 5136 George Washington Hwy., Portsmouth, VA.
They told me not to tell anyone about winning and not to answer the land line - unplug it. The cell phone used was probably a throw -away, but the number is (707) 6022781). I contacted the Navajo County, AZ Sheriff's Department and gave them this information. The report number is DR#13-007308. The officer responded immediately and was very sympathetic, but could only report the incident.
